Energy management systems (EMS)

To allow a connection between wallbox and EMS, the energy manager and the wallbox must be in the same network. For configuration of communications by means of Modbus, open the app and go to System - Settings. Open "Advanced settings" and display "Expert settings". Now select "Energy management system".

The following parameters must be set:

1. Parameter: "Modbus TCP Server"

• This parameter must be "activated".

2. Parameter: "Modbus register set"

• Select Modbus register set. This information can be found in your energy manager data sheet.

3. Parameter "Allow Start/Stop of charging processes"

• This parameter must be "activated".

4. "Modbus TCP Server" parameter

• Port number of the Modbus TCP server for communication over Ethernet port 1.

5. Parameter: "Modbus TCP server device address"

• Device address for the Modbus TCP server: Enter 0 to 25 (This can be found on the device with which it is intended to communicate.
